The Essentials of Community Medicine (TECOM), Editorial board is organizing the 7th online practical examination for the postgraduate students of Community Medicine from 5th to 8th Nov 2024.
The online practical examination cum revision course will include long case discussion, Family case discussion, short case discussion, Pedagogy, OSCE and Grand viva.

Process of exams:
The exams will be held in online mode (Zoom platform).
Real time experience of final MD/DNB Final Mock Practical exams.
Final selected examinees will be presenting cases/spotters/OSCE/grand viva as per the schedule respectively.
Senior faculties with previous examiner experience will be selected as examiners.

Observers will view and experience the final practical exam without being examinee/ examiner.
Mentorship:
Selected faculties will be assigned as mentor of the allotted case discussion and will guide the examinees for the final TECOM exam during the contact session.
Examinee:
1)Selected examinees will be shared notification of selection and WhatsApp group joining link by mail.
2) Single Contact session will be held for briefing regarding the process and guidelines of TECOM Exam

3) Examinees will be presenting the allotted cased during contact session and mentors will guide them regarding the case presentation.
3) Final examinees will be selected as per the marks allotted in the contact session.
4) TECOM Practical exam will be conducted as per the competency based CBME curriculum.
5) Certificates will be provided after the final online mock exams.

Kindly note that the observer/non examinee form is separate.
Participation as an examinee is purely optional.

The Selected Examiners will act as mentors and the examiner for the TECOM Examination during the contact session. However, there will be no contact session for OSCE and Grand viva sessions.
