TECOM V (National level Online Practical Exams of Community Medicine)
The Essentials of Community Medicine (TECOM), Editorial board is organizing the 5th online practical examination for the postgraduate students of Community Medicine from 18th April to 20th April 2024.
The online practical examination cum revision course will include long case discussion, Family case discussion, short case discussion, Pedagogy, and OSCE.
Mentorship:
Selected faculties will be assigned as mentor of the allotted case/Pedagogy/OSCE session and will guide the examinees for the final TECOM exam.
Exam Process:
1. The exams will be held in online mode (Zoom platform).
2. Real time experience of final MD/DNB Community medicine exams.
3. Final selected examinees will be presenting cases/pedagogy/OSCE/grand viva as per the schedule respectively.
4. Senior faculties with previous examiner experience will be given preference as examiner.
5. Selected faculties will be assigned as mentor of the allotted examinee for case/Pedagogy/OSCE session and will guide the examiners and examinees about the session.
6. Mock drill will be held to give real time orientation of the exam pattern.
7. SOPs and guidelines will be provided to the examiners and examinee about the exams.
8. The examinees will get to view the entire exams apart from their existing selection of case discussion.
All examiners and examinees will be given certificates.

Participation as an examinee is purely optional.

TECOM MASCOT FORM
Grab this opportunity to be a mascot for TECOM (The Essentials of Community Medicine) National level Mock PG Online Practical exams of Community Medicine.
TECOM Mascots will be organisers/moderators of TECOM exams and will be given free registration in TECOM exams.
The Essentials of Community Medicine (TECOM), Editorial board is organising the National level Online Practical Exams i.e TECOM V, for the postgraduate students of Community Medicine.
The online practical examination cum revision course will include long case discussion, Family case discussion, short case discussion, Pedagogy and OSCE. The exams will be based on the latest CBME curriculum and extensively peer reviewed by the senior national faculties.
Process of TECOM exams:
1. The exams will be held in online mode (Zoom platform).
2. Real time experience of final MD/DNB Community medicine exams.
3. Final selected examinees will be presenting cases/pedagogy/OSCE/grand viva as per the schedule respectively.
4. Senior faculties with previous examiner experience will be selected as examiners.
Role of TECOM Mascots:
1. They will work as moderator in the organisation of TECOM event.
2. TECOM mascots will be moderator for the respective day allotted.
2. They will act as representative of the department and facilitate communication.
Eligibility:
All Junior residents of Community Medicine/Public Health.
